The Art of Relaxation

Escaping is what Lake Eildon is all about, even in winter, the tranquil flat water allows you to cruise for miles to find a special spot. The easy feeling of simplicity overwhelms you as you watch the kids enjoying themselves, laughing while jumping into the fresh water, going all wrinkly from swimming, and usually while you work on your tan.

Don’t forget water sports such as fishing, waterskiing, jet skis, sailing or canoeing and land based activities such as trial bike riding, deer hunting, bushwalking or enjoying a warm camp fire on the side of the lake when permitted.

*Ask us about canoe hire - we can supply canoes for your entire stay at very competitive prices

Break out the Monopoly or maybe a big jigsaw puzzle to work on between reading a book or before having an afternoon kip.

Forget the day to day stress of your normal life, leave the pollution, noise and problems behind and spend your time worrying about important things like; should we move the boat today, what about an on land adventure like a bushwalk or short hike, will we have a BBQ or cook up a big bolognaise, and of course what about a beer or maybe a local wine!

Nothing beats the sun setting over the mountains with brilliant purple and red hues reflecting off the water, light a camp fire on the side of the lake and catch up with your family, forget T.V enjoy some music, have a dance and a laugh and finally - figure out who gets to sleep in the swag on the top deck under millions of stars burning brightly.
